On this day trip from Brighton, you'll get to visit the Isle of Wight. Your journey will begin with a drive through Portsmouth, where you'll learn about Britain's naval history. You'll then board a ferry for a 40-minute ride to the Isle of Wight. Upon arrival, you'll embark on a 20-minute scenic drive to the village of Godshill, famous for its 500-year old thatched cottages, tradional tea rooms and medievil church. You'll then continue to Alum Bay with its multi-coloured sands and the Needles, one of the most photographed groups of rocks in the world. Here, you'll also be able to take a chairlift ride or walk down the steps to the beach.
